What are the main indicators of blockboard?

What are the main indicators of blockboard?

1. formaldehyde. According to national standards, the formaldehyde release limit of blockboards using the climate chamber method is E1≤0.124mg/m3. The unqualified formaldehyde emission indicators of blockboards sold on the market mainly involve two aspects: first, the formaldehyde emission exceeds the standard, which is an obvious threat to human health; second, although the formaldehyde emission of some products is within the E2 level, it does not It does not reach E1 level, but it is marked E1 level. This is also a disqualification.

2. Lateral static bending strength. The transverse static bending strength and gluing strength reflect the ability of the blockboard product to bear force and resist force deformation. There are three main reasons for the unqualified transverse static bending strength. First, the raw materials themselves are defective or decayed, and the board core quality is not good; second, the splicing technology was not up to standard during the production process; and third, the gluing work was not done well.

3. Glue strength. There are three main process parameters for gluing performance, namely time, temperature and pressure. How to use more and less adhesives also affects the formaldehyde emission index.

4. Moisture content. Moisture content is an indicator that reflects the moisture content of blockboard. If the moisture content is too high or uneven, the product will be deformed, warped or uneven during use, which will affect the performance of the product.
